Last Thursday night I attended the Joie + Nars event in San Francisco hosted at Joie on Fillmore Street with fellow fashion bloggers, Juila & Nichole. Anytime I have an excuse to drive up to the city for some shopping and pampering (getting glam'd up included) I am all there! I'm pretty excited to share my latest Marshall's purchase. I was very happy when I spotted this Velvet by Graham & Spencer faux leather detailed shirt and at only $17, talk about #FabFind! Because of the faux leather detailing this shirt goes from being just a casual jeans and tee outfit to the dressed up version. Modern Day Gladiator
I don't know what it is but whenever I wear my gladiator sandals I feel like a mix between a rockstar and a warrior. They're not a shoe I would normally wear to work but with this outfit I think it works. Backstory, on Monday's, I tend to carry my weekend wear over to my work week style in one way or another trying to hang on to the weekend I guess. Layering to make a Casual Dress Work Appropriate
I love when I have a new found love for items that have been pushed to the back of my closet. This cardigan is one of those items. I've had this Velvet by Graham & Spencer cotton drape front cardigan for years. I love the deep shade of pink and it's light weight material is perfect for warmer days when you need to coverup an outfit that might not be totally appropriate the way it is. Ocean Blues
This past Memorial Day weekend I was enjoying sun, sand, and surf. Spending a wonderful weekend with friends and family I didn't have any down time, and I was totally ok with it! So because of the never-ending party from morning till night hear is one of my Memorial Day weekend looks. I went with an Ocean blue theme with hints of black and gold.
