The other day my mom and I headed down to Big Sur to enjoy the newly reopened Rocky Point Restaurant. Having never dined there before I didn't have anything to compare it to, but it was breathtaking. The views were spectacular. I wanted to wear something light and airy because it was such a beautiful day but I knew that it would be a little cooler right on the ocean. I decided on my new 3.1 Phillip Lim long sleeve blouse I picked up at Saks Off 5th during their insanely to good to be true, but it was, sale. I love the ... Read more...
Label for Less
Lately I have had a BIG thing for printed blazers. My eye keeps getting drawn to them and I just want to add more and more to my closet. I have been trying to incorporate more blazers into my everyday wear and rather than go with my staple black blazer (here's the one I wear all the time but in black) I want to spice things up with a bold print. I absolutely love wearing this vest during the holidays. The mix of textures is great and the sequin detail adds just the right amount of shine. I ... Read more...

This weekend I spent a lot of time with the family. Memorial Day weekend was spent outdoors updating the patio, creating my DIY pique assiette table top featured here, and celebrating the May birthdays in my family (mom, brother and grandma.) I chose this Azzedine Alaïa Paris tank and skirt, which has been in my closet for quite a while but haven't had the right opportunity to wear them until now. Originally I was going to pull them out for my bridal shower or rehearsal dinner but ended up finding other options so the set has been ... Read more...
Label for Less
After the Stella & Dot summer preview party I attended on Wednesday night I can't stop thinking about jewelry. One of the bangles my friend had on display resembled the Alexis Bittar jaguar bangle (Label.) I knew that Kenneth Jay Lane (For less) had a similar design as well so I thought it was only fitting to showcase them on this weeks installment of Label for Less. I've finally found my groove, so to speak, with the arm party and now I constantly want to find new pieces to add to my collection that integrate with my current ... Read more...
