Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Whole Foods Market Love Local Tasting Event
Last weekend I was invited to a tasting event at Whole Foods Market in Santa Clara where Top Chef Melissa King prepared an amazing tasting menu using local produce. I brought my friend and photographer Jess along with me. The meal was delicious, and the event was both fun and informative! It was very interesting to hear about how local vendors are selected to be in Whole Foods Market and what those vendors are doing to stay at the top of their category. I am a huge fan of Whole Foods and love all the local vendors they highlight ... Read more...
Blogger Off Duty: Daily Outfit Series Volume 2
This past weekend I took Mason to Half Moon Bay and spent some quality time at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay with him since Justin is in Hawaii for a guys trip. When I want to be comfortable I tend to wear oversized tops. I did this before becoming a mom and I definitely love them now that I am a mom. Button down tops are prime because it's easy to breastfeed Mason no matter where we are. This button-down top is from Vince and oh so pretty. I love the pale yellow color and the neutral floral print. While the day was overcast is ... Read more...
Cold Shoulder Tie Sleeve Sweatshirt
This past weekend I took a drive up the coast to Half Moon Bay with Mason and my mom. We wanted a change of scenery from our usual local getaways. We also wanted to stay away from the heat so Half Moon Bay seemed like the right place to go. The drive up to HMB is beautiful and if you're not in a hurry there are so many places to turn off the road and see the sights. Knowing that the weather was going to be overcast I wore my new cold shoulder sweatshirt. It is so comfortable and stylish and perfect to wear for a drive up the coast. ... Read more...
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 Restocked and Currently Available Favorites
So the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has been bananas this year! With the first days of early access having the site keep crashing every time I tried to place my order to items being sold out so quickly, restocked, then sold out again but don't be discouraged if you haven't shopped the sale yet because there are still some really great pieces and items that are stocked in almost every size. I went back to Nordstrom the other day so that I could try on a few more tops I hadn't before that are still stocked so you could get my review on ... Read more...
Maxi Romper
Gals, have you heard of the maxi romper?! I hadn't until just recently when I spotted this adorable number in Target of all places. I mean, I love Target but I typically don't find new trends there because I've seen them elsewhere first then spot an amazing lookalike for less than half the price of the other one. This adorable maxi romper is so comfortable and perfect for a casual day out with friends in sandals (if you're tall enough) or if you're a shorty like me then you'll opt for nude mules. So for those of you who might still ... Read more...
