Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Shopping Tips for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Arguably the best sale of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, is quickly approaching. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale early access for Nordstrom card holders (you can still apply for one if you don't already have a Nordstrom card) starts July 13th and on July 21st opens up for the public. Why is this the best sale of the year? It's when for a couple of weeks new Fall 2017 clothing, beauty products, and home decor is discounted. After the sale, the pieces that haven't already sold out go back to retail, sometimes over a 30% price ... Read more...
Wine Tasting in Healdsburg: Medlock Ames
I'm a big fan of wine country, I've been up to Napa and Sonoma many times (most recent visit I've blogged about here, here, and here). This summer I've already been to two places I haven't visited before. Paso Robles (though I've driven through there a number of times) and now Healdsburg just a week later. It's so fun to make spur of the moment plans, and that is exactly how this trip came about. My friend called me on a Wednesday and the very next day I was driving up to meet her in Healdsburg for a girls trip and some wine tasting! ... Read more...
Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 Max Convertible Car Seat
Before Mason was born I bought the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max 30 infant car seat. I selected it not only because of the safely rating but also for the design. I wanted a car seat that not only functioned well but also looked great. I purchased it during Nordstrom's Anniversary sale also known as the #NSale last summer. I know you might not think of going to Nordstrom for baby gear but I've found so many great baby products at Nordstrom, all while racking up my Nordstrom Notes perfect for using during epic sales like this one! If you're ... Read more...
Lace-Up White Denim Dress
I bought this lace-up white denim dress when I was in Paso Robles the other week. I found it at this super cute boutique called Bijou on the Park. It's right across from the park in downtown Paso Robles. I loved the decor in the boutique. Everything was so well thought out. They have the cutest selection of clothing for women, with some smaller home decor items, and Milkbarn baby clothes (which I love!). I didn't even wait a full 24 hours to wear it! The weather was so hot it was perfect for this lace up white denim dress. I wore ... Read more...
Mini Vacation in Paso Robles
The other week I took a mini vacation with Mason and my mom down to Paso Robles. I was in major need of a change of scenery. After almost two weeks on my own without Justin I was getting a bit stir crazy. Paso Robles isn't that far but it feels like a world away from Santa Cruz. The temps are much hotter and wine country, need I say more. I'm a huge fan of wine country but typically visit Napa Valley, Saratoga, Calistoga, etc. I've only driven through Paso and have always wanted to come for a visit. We spent our first ...
