Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
An Afternoon at Bardessono
Every time I visit Napa Valley I like to try and visit new places. I don't believe that I have eaten at the same restaurant twice! Besides Bouchon Bakery, which I go to at least once on every trip, I am slowly eating my way through wine country. When it comes to wine tasting I also have my go-to places I will always stop at like Domaine Carneros, but I too like to try new wineries at each visit. On my most recent trip I finally got to check out Bardessono and ate at Lucy's Restaurant and Bar at Bardessono for lunch. It was a rainy ... Read more...
Review: The Meritage Resort and Spa
The Meritage Resort and Spa is a four-star hotel with five-star service. From the moment we drove up to the front of the resort their customer service staff were so friendly and our experience was perfectly orchestrated. I think it was probably one of the smoothest transitions I've experienced from checking in to having their bell service help unload my car (we had so many bags especially since I wanted to make sure I was prepared for anything with Mason) to the hand off to valet take care of my car. The rain didn't have them skipping ... Read more...
Trumpet Bell Sleeve Sweater
For my recent girls getaway to Napa Valley I picked up a few new pieces. I know I said I was challenging myself to not purchase any new clothes these first six months of the year but my Unlimited order I was banking on for the trip didn't arrive in time so I made a quick pit stop to the mall, the night before we left, to get something new. I hardly feel bad about breaking my little New Years Resolution/Challenge when everything I purchased was under $50! Target and Kohls are two of my go-to places to shop for on trend pieces with an ... Read more...
Modern Work Blazer
I went from being a full time executive assistant to a work from home mom and so my daily wardrobe has drastically changed as one might imagine that it would. While I don't miss going into an office Monday-Friday I do miss getting dressed up for work. As a fashion blogger and lover of all things girly it can be hard to be inside most of the day wearing my loungewear so I cherish every opportunity that I get to dress up my everyday outfits. This modern work blazer from Tart Collections is such a fun piece that really transforms an ... Read more...
Outfit Inspiration: What to Wear Wine Tasting in Napa Valley
Wine tasting in Napa Valley is one of my favorite things to do and is an easy getaway from Santa Cruz. The weather is typically really nice and temperate just like the Bay Area and so dressing for Napa Valley is not much different than dressing for wine tasting in say Hollister Hills at Leal Estate Vineyards (where Justin and I got married almost four and a half years ago). I love wearing dresses but Santa Cruz can be so casual and on the weekends during the day I tend to end up wearing jeans or shorts unless it’s totally hot and then ... Read more...
