Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Gift Guide: Baby’s First Holiday
I'm excited to be kicking off my gift guides this holiday season and it couldn't be more appropriate than to start with a baby's first holiday gift guide since this will be Mason's first Christmas and Hanukkah. Seeing as he's only going to be three months old (or 14 weeks to be exact) it's not like he is going to remember this year so it's more about us capturing the memory to share with him when he's older. So what to you get a newborn baby for his/her first holiday? Well here are some ideas I've got beside the usual outfit or baby ... Read more...
Nursing Sweater
I've found it hard to find nursing clothing that I like but have a major need for nursing appropriate clothing. This sweater from Skunkfunk SF I've had for about a year and never did I think about it as being a good nursing sweater. I mean, who does think of these things prior to being pregnant/giving birth. Honestly, it didn't even cross my mind while I was pregnant! I loved how it fit my growing belly but I wasn't able to wear it for long since I was pregnant during the summer. With little in my closet that works for nursing ... Read more...
Review: Dr. Brown’s Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer
In between breast-feeding and pumping you've got to sterilize all of the parts that you've used before being able to use them again. A bottle sterilizer can cut down on the time you spend cleaning those parts. If you're doing this by hand this process can take some time. If you've got a fussy baby, like I do, it can be the difference between getting him fed and happy or watching a major meltdown unfold, if you're not ready when he's ready to feed. Before Dr. Brown's deluxe bottle sterilizer I would have to hand wash each piece ... Read more...
Label For Less: Voluminous Shirred Sleeve Wrap Blouse
This voluminous shirred sleeve wrap blouse has been seen on style bloggers everywhere and for good reason. When I first saw the style online at Shopbop I couldn't help myself and needed to have one in my closet. I saw that Chicwish had their version which was practically identical to the MLM Label blouse which I ended up getting. I've styled mine layered over a lace trim camisole to be a little more modest. As I mentioned here I'm still getting used to my new postpartum body. The biggest adjustment is my large bust. This wrap blouse ... Read more...
Need Now: One Shoulder Top
It seems like shoulders have been the center of attention in the fashion industry for the last few years. First the off-the-shoulder trend, the cold shoulder trend, and now the one shoulder trend. Thankfully the first two are still going strong as I am all about them. The one shoulder top isn't new but the exaggerated one shoulder is making a major appearance this season. Here are a few one shoulder tops that I've been eyeing. I love that some of these incorporate other trends I'm loving right now like extra large ruffles and bows, ... Read more...
