Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Plaid Shirtdress
I purchased this plaid shirtdress during Nordstrom's anniversary sale. I knew right when I saw it that I'd be able to style it as a layering piece now and wear it as a shirtdress later once baby A has arrived. This dress is so wearable as an open top and styled under a denim jacket is super cute too for when it cools down a bit. I love that the slip for the dress is easily removable because there is no way that my bump is fitting into that right now! Plaid is always perfect for Fall and a plaid shirtdress is a must have in your ... Read more...
Back-to-School Shopping at the Northridge Mall
I can't believe it's already back-to-school time. While I haven't been to school in a while I love that back-to-school shopping means shopping for fall! It's a great time to refresh your wardrobe by mixing in some new pieces that help transition to cooler temps. This year I am for sure excited for fall because I am about to start my maternity leave, which means baby A is going to be here before we know it. But also, I can start to enjoy slightly cooler temps! Though in all honesty, in the Bay Area, September and October tend to be our ... Read more...
Arana Trail Maternity Shoot
So you might have seen our beach shoot the other day on the blog, now I wanted to share our pictures from Arana Trail. This non-maternity dress I picked up at Target matched the scenery perfectly and the colors on Justin's custom button down shirt from Devan Vincent also worked great without being too matchy matchy. The lighting my friend, and photographer, Jess from Birch Studio Photography captured was just magical. It's crazy to think this trail is so close to the yacht harbor yet has a totally different look and feel to it. ... Read more...
Seabright Beach Maternity Shoot
I have been dying to share with you all some pictures from our maternity shoot we did a few weekends ago. Working with a friend is always fun and it's a lot easier to get comfortable behind the camera when you're close with your photographer. I know that may sound a little weird coming from a fashion blogger but my husband usually takes my pictures or my mom. And if not them, then a blogger friend. So I'm always working with people who I am comfortable with. When I have someone taking my picture that I'm not too familiar with I not ... Read more...
Baby Shower for Baby Adney
A few weekends ago we had my baby shower for baby A. I have to start off by saying a huge thank you to my mom and mother-in-law for coordinating and co-hosting. They did a fantastic job! For my theme I decided I wanted elephants. I scoured Pinterest for hours looking for inspiration and I found so many cute baby boy baby shower ideas using elephants. I loved these little cookies so much and I was so happy when my mom found someone who could make similar cookies and cake pops. Image from Pinterest can be found on my Pinterest ...
