Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Leather on Leather
I tend to go for color in my outfits. If I had to choose between neutral territory or brightly colored nine times out of ten I'd reach for the color, or so I thought. It's funny how you have an opinion of yourself that may or may not be true. Going back to when I started my blog a little over a year ago to now, I have shown so many different outfits and really I'd like to think that my style has evolved, or has it? Many of the same pieces still sit in my closet, and go on rotation with my new clothes, shoes, and accessories that I ... Read more...
Jewel Tones for Fall
Like every designer collab with Target, I have the launch date on my calendar months before. When the collection goes live, I make note of the pieces I'd like to have. I really scored with the Altuzarra collaboration with Target, as you can see here. I fell in love with the entire collection and was able to snag almost all of the pieces I wanted. The collection was right in jewel tones and perfect for the holiday season that's rapidly approaching. This emerald green snakeskin fit-n-flare skirt really surprised me though. I wasn't too ... Fall Color Combinations I Love: Olive & Cranberry
Fall weather can sometimes be a let down from Summer but not Fall style. Getting bundled up in chunky knits, scarves, boots of all heights and styles, long sleeves, not to mention layering, is something fashion bloggers & fashionable women alike look forward to. There is definitely a place for them too! There are pieces you buy that last the length of a trend and ... Read more...
Walk in Central Park
One of my favorite places to go in New York is Central Park. It is seriously one of the most beautiful parks and when you’re there you forget about all of the hustle and bustle of the city that is around you. When I visit NYC I typically stay at a friends house on Park Avenue and 87th so it’s a quick and easy walk to Central Park. I couldn’t leave the city from this last visit for New York fashion Week without spending at least a little bit in Central Park. My mom and I had taken a pedicab through the park one afternoon after some ... Read more...
Currently Craving: Shopbop
Shopbop is currently having their Friends and Family sale for a whopping 25% off your entire order!! My shopping cart is overflowing, if that was even possible online. I've decided to share some of my top picks, some of which I have already checked out for. Can't let them sit and possibly get snagged by someone else! ;) Since the move I've noticed that while I have a number of blouses (all that I love) they're not really basic and therefore are not as versatile. So you'll see a lot of what I'm looking for right now are pieces to round ... Read more...
