Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Weekend Highlight: Fleet Week
This weekend the hubs and I packed in a lot. Our house is now consuming most of our free time and unless we have something on the calendar that was planned months in advance or before we closed escrow on our home we haven't been adding to much to our social calendars. This weekend in San Francisco was Fleet Week and year after year it's quite the event that never disappoints and always draws a very large crowd. The Blue Angels are the main event during Fleet Week and are always show stoppers, except for last year when they didn't make ... Read more...
Walk on the Wild Side
While on my last trip to NY, in between fashion shows at NYFW, my mom and I had planned a night out on Broadway. We saw two back to back shows one on Broadway and one off-broadway. I packed clothes that I felt screamed New York and this outfit made me feel like I was walking on the wild side, perfect for seeing Wicked and the Anna Wintour and Kim Kardashian inspired show called Ryan Raftery is the Most Powerful Woman in Fashion. Prior to leaving I felt I didn't have enough New York appropriate clothes, any reason to pick up a few new ... Read more...
Honey Do List
With the purchase of our first home comes major excitement followed by major work. We moved in just a two weeks ago and have been busy bees since the day we got the keys! Hence the reason for less outfit posts!! {I promise to figure out my new routine soon and get back to a more regular posting schedule} The house is a 1940's home, pictured above, and while it has a lot of charm that we love, there is also a lot of "charm" we don't love and could definitely do without. I have big ideas and so does my husband, though he thinks I ... Read more...
Eat, Shop, Do: Los Altos
I've been wanting to do a mini series like this for a while and here it is numero uno in the city I spend the most amount of time, the city I work in. The more time I spend in Los Altos the more I find and love. Los Altos is known as a sleepy town, that's definitely what I thought when I first landed my job at a startup that opened it's doors right on Main Street. There was not much to do, everything was closed by the time I left the office, and frankly as soon as I was off all I wanted to do was get home. But quickly, Los Altos ... Read more...
