Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Falling for Fall Hues
I've been currently craving Fall. I never thought I'd say this but I'm ready for summer to come to an end and to transition into fall weather and fall hues. Don't get me wrong, I love waking up when it's light out, bright sunny afternoons, and warm summer nights but I'm ready to get bundled up and take my cool weather clothes out for a spin again. This skirt and top I've had for a while now and when I saw this necklace from Sole Society, I knew exactly what outfits it would work with and right now, that's many. It seriously ties ... Shades of Grey
When I was prepping my closet for fall one color that seemed to be making it's way in, more and more, is grey. I love mixing shades of grey in an outfit. There is something so classic about grey and not nearly as harsh as black. Grey is definitely my black, since I don't wear a lot of black all that often. I spotted these Sole Society heels a while ago in tan and black and loved them. Then I saw them in grey and knew I had to have them! I love how they are two-tone bringing attention to the heel with textured grey leather. This detail ... Read more...
Academy of Art University at NYFW
Designer: Szu Chi Huang. Designer: Mia Jianxia Ji. Designer: Madison Detro. Designer: Die Zhou. This is the second time I have been to an Academy of Art runway show at NYFW. The first time my friend, Naomi Sutton, was showing at Bryant Park and I was lucky enough to be able to go to New York to support her and her collection. I was so blown away by all of the students showing that season but was partial to her collection, of course! So when I knew I was attending NYFW this season I reached out to see if ... Read more...
Pop Up Shop: Marrin Costello Jewelry
While in New York I got invited to a pop up shop at the RePopRoom in Chelsea, NY. On my final full day in New York I headed from event to event. I'm so happy that I decided to head to this event because I met Marrin Costello of MarrinCostello™. I quickly fell in love with her new stoned collection. I loved how some of her pieces had more than one way to wear them. One necklace converted from short, to long, to a body chain, seriously impressive and very cleaver. Marrin is as sweet as her pieces and I just loved how versatile ... Read more...
Alexandra Lin Spring Presentation
I’m going to start by setting the scene. Enjoying a champagne brunch on the rooftop of Toshi’s penthouse at the Flatiron Hotel, gorgeous New York City views all around, and a spring fashion presentation by the lovely Alexandra Lin; a great way to start a Sunday, if you ask me. Throughout the afternoon models were walking around showing off Alexandra’s latest Spring collection. The collection consisted of separates and two-piece outfits in pale pink and lime and a lovely floral print in the same color combo. Crop tops, crop jackets, ... Read more...
