Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Off to New York Fashion Week
I am so incredibly excited to be heading off to New York Fashion Week! It's been years since I attended, the last time I went it was still at Bryant Park. I've been having a hard time the last few weeks focusing on anything else. Each time my email notification goes off, I'm hoping it's another invite to a show, when it is I can barely hold back from squealing! September is unquestionably the biggest month for Fashion. Fashion Week in New York kicks off the month long celebration, the September issues all hit the stands, and we ... Read more...
How-To Wardrobe Edit Your Closet Like A Pro
Most people only wear 20% of their wardrobe 80% of the time because they get stuck in a 'style rut' and reach for the same old favorites everyday. Cleaning out your closet might seem like the lowest priority on your already bursting “to do” list. Your cluttered closet may be keeping one hostage to a scattered and hurried image every time you get dressed. And if you are living in San Francisco (or any major big city...say NYC), closet space is limited, leave no room for your favorite worn out outfit you wore in back in 2007 to take up ... Read more...
Fashion Luncheon
Last Saturday I got to enjoy a fashion luncheon at the Four Seasons Palo Alto for the Camille K and Jarbo's fall fashion preview. For a fashion addict such as myself what could be more fun than an afternoon filled with fashion, food, and champagne cocktails, all of that at the gorgeous Four Seasons! So what to wear when you get invited to such an event? I always go with something that I feel comfortable in and that makes me feel good. It seems like lately I've been purchasing pieces that have burnt orange, coral, peachy colors, so ... Read more...
Camille K + Jarbo Fall Fashion Preview at the Four Seasons Palo Alto
Silicon Valley is turning out to be quite a fashion forward city. While not making it on the top 10 list for most fashionable US cities (yet) there are plenty of fashionable people, fashion tech companies making their HQ in Silicon Valley, and top retailers moving in to make this a city to watch when it comes to fashion. This past weekend I attended the Camille K + Jarbo fall fashion preview at the Quattro restaurant at the Four Seasons in Palo Alto. And just like what you would imagine, this event was nothing short of spectacular. ... Read more...
Pattern Play
These Trina Turk pants are the perfect example of great pattern play. I love mixing prints and patterns {broken record} and these mini Berber stripe jacquard pants really do it for me. The pattern mixing is excellent and because they're only white and purple, rather than multi-colored it allows me to pair them with lots of tops in my closet rather than just a few. I can easily play these up to wear on the weekend or tone them down during the work week like I did for this outfit. I love that my 3.1 Phillip Lim silk crop blouse just ... Read more...
