Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
SF Event: Joie + Nars
Last Thursday night I attended the Joie + Nars event in San Francisco hosted at Joie on Fillmore Street with fellow fashion bloggers, Juila & Nichole. Anytime I have an excuse to drive up to the city for some shopping and pampering (getting glam'd up included) I am all there! I absolutely love Joie clothing and Nars makeup so this event was a no brainer, had to make it, under no circumstances was I going to miss it, kind of event. Here are some pics, taken with my iPhone, to give you a little taste of the goodness. I ... Read more...
Label for Less
I have been wanting to get a brass bar cart for my home for quite a while. My husband doesn't think we need one since we have a wine rack that does the trick but I like the idea of using an antique bar cart as a side table to display things on and let me just say the price for a vintage one definitely doesn't help my case when trying to get Justin on board. So I've decided to scour the internet to find some less expensive options. There are so many styles to choose from but I've decided to take a look at an oval shaped bar ... Read more...
Your Not So Basic, Basic Tee
I'm pretty excited to share my latest Marshall's purchase. I was very happy when I spotted this Velvet by Graham & Spencer faux leather detailed shirt and at only $17, talk about #FabFind! Because of the faux leather detailing this shirt goes from being just a casual jeans and tee outfit to the dressed up version. I couldn't wait to wear it, so I quickly cut the tags and wore it out to a dinner date with my main squeeze! A few days later, I paired it with my skinnies, leopard print pumps, and some statement jewelry for a day at ... Read more...
Modern Day Gladiator
I don't know what it is but whenever I wear my gladiator sandals I feel like a mix between a rockstar and a warrior. They're not a shoe I would normally wear to work but with this outfit I think it works. Backstory, on Monday's, I tend to carry my weekend wear over to my work week style in one way or another trying to hang on to the weekend I guess. There is never enough time on the weekend, am I right? Anyway, I couldn't think of any better way to describe this outfit than "Modern Day Gladiator." Jacket: VEDA. Top: Banana Republic ... Layering to make a Casual Dress Work Appropriate
I love when I have a new found love for items that have been pushed to the back of my closet. This cardigan is one of those items. I've had this Velvet by Graham & Spencer cotton drape front cardigan for years. I love the deep shade of pink and it's light weight material is perfect for warmer days when you need to coverup an outfit that might not be totally appropriate the way it is. I layered this over a grey cotton dress which is great for the weekend but might not be the most work appropriate. Wearing the drape front cardigan ... Read more...
