Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Bow Blouse & Distressed Denim
This post is coming to you by way of Seattle. I was welcomed today by rain. Just days before I arrived it was unusually warm so while the weather predicted a good chance of rain {no shocker there} for the weekend I was hoping that was not going to be the case. We're still having a wonderful time even though the weather is not so wonderful. I guess I'm getting the full Seattle experience. So while I'm sitting inside listening to the patter of raindrops before heading out to dinner, I'm dreaming of last weekend in Santa Cruz and ... Read more...
Label for Less
I've been wanting a new handbag for quite some time now. My last major handbag purchase was a few years ago during a trip to New York. Best consignment shopping EVER, and while in Soho I discovered Roundabout Resale where I snagged myself an almost mint condition Stephane Kelian black woven leather handbag (the one I carry almost every day, yeah that one.) So I'm ready to find my next "it" bag and retire this one to the occasional use like the others. So as much as I'd love a Chanel handbag, which option would you choose to ... Read more...
Styling a Graphic tee
I go through phases when it comes to graphic tees. Sometimes I'm all about them and other times I'd reach for anything else in my closet. Right now, I am the former. I've been wanting to wear my Sincerely Jules graphic tee so much that I've been styling it into my work week attire. When the mornings are cool and grey to warm them up I try and wear bright cheery colors, like these pink Theory ankle trousers. I'll be sharing one more way to style a graphic tee on the blog soon, so check back often. PS. if there's ... Read more...
Tropical Print
Some days I just dream about going on a vacation to somewhere tropical. With my husband and I both having such busy schedules at work it's hard to get away, even for the weekend, so sometimes all a girl can do is dream and wear something tropical. During my search for some fun new blouses that are both work week appropriate as well as weekend friendly I selected this blouse from Grayson. I love the tropical pattern of this sheer blouse. It's perfect for transitioning into Spring/Summer weather because it's long sleeve, ... Read more...
Chambray and Knit
Some days I just don't feel like dressing up for work. Thankfully working at a startup I have a lot of flexibility on my wardrobe, meaning I can really wear whatever I feel like {tasteful of course}. So when those days hit, like they did the other day, I try and mix things up going for comfort with a side of style. My new chambray button down, featured here, is so soft and casual; paired with my knit skirt and metallic flats this outfit makes for a great work week uniform. Knits are always a go to for me when I want to feel ... Read more...
