Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Colorful in the Castro
This weekend Justin and I headed up to SF for a friends bday brunch at Bisou Bistro in the Castro. It was my first time going there and as you could imagine, being in the Castro, it was lively and festive. Like any celebration the brighter the better, but even in my coral Parker NY skirt and rainbow Prabal Gurung for Target pumps some people in the Castro were far more colorful than me but that's the beauty of the city, isn't it?! Hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Happy ... Read more...
Label for Less
Spring florals are blooming everywhere and especially on these dresses. I saw this floral dress by Alexander McQueen (Label) and have been swooning ever since. The mirrored pattern is amazing and the fit is perfection. Since I can't justify spending so much on a dress right now I've found two less expensive options that I think are equally as fabulous. All About Comfort
I gotta say, some days I just want to be comfortable. Not like I'm not comfortable every day but I'm talking about the type of comfort you only get from wearing your favorite, worn in, sweatshirt. So I decided to style my favorite sweatshirt for a day at the office. I chose to combine my sweatshirt with a long sleeve silk blouse, my favorite (and most comfortable) skinnies, and my woven boots, a splurge years ago but well worth it as they have been a staple in my closet since I purchased them. What clothes do you ... Read more...
Fashion at the Fairmont
I absolutely love fashion, hence the reason why I started a fashion and lifestyle blog! I will take any chance to spend the day checking out clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories. So when an organization as close to my heart as the Junior League I would never miss the opportunity to support and attend the JLSF's annual fashion show. When I was a member of this league I was on the fashion show committee before having to transfer to the San Diego league. Fashion is my passion and this event has always been a highlight ... Pastels for Spring
I am loving this warm weather! Not like we didn't have it for long but still after a few cold weeks and a little rain I was looking forward to the days warming up again. Now that it feels like spring I'm leaning towards pastels and floral/feminine prints. I paired my paisley scarf with my French Connection peach and cream zebra print blouse. I think the prints work nicely together, no? What have you been waiting for warmer days to wear? Jacket: VEDA. Blouse: French Connection, ... Read more...
