Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Ocean Breeze
The other day my mom and I headed down to Big Sur to enjoy the newly reopened Rocky Point Restaurant. Having never dined there before I didn't have anything to compare it to, but it was breathtaking. The views were spectacular. I wanted to wear something light and airy because it was such a beautiful day but I knew that it would be a little cooler right on the ocean. I decided on my new 3.1 Phillip Lim long sleeve blouse I picked up at Saks Off 5th during their insanely to good to be true, but it was, sale. I love the ... Read more...
Weekend Highlight: Sunshine on a Cloudy Day
I made the most of this weekend even though the weather was less than desirable. Saturday started out lovely over by my house and after checking the weather report, Seascape looked very promising. Turns out they were wrong and I was so totally inappropriately dressed it wasn't even funny! I had a wonderful time anyway at our Mother Daughter brunch with my good friend Jessica and our moms. So much fun that we forgot to snap a pic!! I haven't seen them since here, so it was so nice to spend the afternoon with them!! We even got to ... Read more...
Label for Less
I have been a fan of Jonathan Adler for quite some time now. I even applied for a design position with Jonathan Adler right after I graduated college. Needless to say it ended, rather didn't even start, once I figured out that for the internship or any other design position I would have to move to NYC. As cool as living in New York sounded I am a West Coast girl through and through! Anyway, I have always loved Jonathan Adler's modern home accessories. I'm pretty sure he started the trend for modern/mod animal figurines and ... Read more...
Sky High
Last night I was thinking about my husband, if you're new to my blog or just forgot he is currently overseas, and our short time in SoCal. How I've been missing our place in Carlsbad; our amazing roof deck with ocean views situated within walking distance to the beach, shops, and a number of great coffee spots. Anyway, last night I couldn't help but think about how wonderful the last week was before he left and I made the drive back up north. We crammed in as much romantic time as we could and on our last night we took a hot air ... Read more...
A Look Inside: Hotel Missoni
I am a huge Missoni fan. My first Missoni purchase was back in college. I bought one of their silk scarves. I now have a few dresses too! I sadly didn't get to pick up any pieces from their collaboration with Target; I had to work & purchasing online, well we all know what happened! I was really looking forward to adding some of their home line to my collection but {sigh} I have yet to do so. In search for the next A Look Inside post I stumbled upon Hotel Missoni and I thought "how fitting." So here we have it, a place ... Read more...
