Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Label for Less
This weeks Label for Less is the Chloe Susanne stud buckle booties. I spotted them walking down Fillmore St. the other day. They are even prettier in person and seeing them paired with an equally stylish outfit made me crave them even more. (I can't believe I didn't snap a pic!) I'll admit when I was working up this post I realized that this is not the first time someone has written about the Susanne stud buckle booties or even the first time someone has compared similar styles at a more affordable price. I get it, I'm not inventing ... Read more...
I Want to Join this Arm Party!
One trend I've wanted to get into, and I know it isn't new, but haven't is the Arm Party. I've been a little hesitant to load too many bracelets or bangles on my arm at any given time. I'm not sure exactly why but every time I try to stack more than three or four I start to edit and take some off. It also overwhelms me when I start to think about mixing too many different styles together. I love it on others but whenever I reach into my own eclectic collection I just can't seem to do it. These are some of the arm parties I'd love ... Read more...
Studs and Stripes
I like to think of myself as stylish girl but one that's not too stuffy. It's important to be comfortable. Well comfortable everywhere except for my feet; I don't mind cramming them into sky-high heels because my legs look so much better when I do! Today's outfit is one of my go to's. I LOVE this lightweight sweater so much I could live in it. I've had it forever but it's still one that I continually gravitate towards. There was a time, after on of my trips, that I thought I lost it. I was on eBay daily hoping someone was going to ... Read more...
Blowout quality curls
As a non-working girl, I can't afford blowouts all the time so I have decided to invest in a curling iron. Up until this point I haven't been too adventurous when it comes to styling my own hair. I either leave it naturally curly and for those of you who are, know they don't always do what you want, or I straighten it. I've never used a curling iron before so this will be a learning experience. All I know is that when I tried to give myself blowout quality curls in the past with a roller brush and a blow dryer it didn't turn out so ... Read more...
Weekend Highlight: Kentucky Derby, CA style
I've been a bad blogger this weekend. Maybe it's because I was having too much fun, but I didn't take many pictures of the weekends festivities. The Kentucky Derby on Saturday, where the adventure getting to Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley (Cal Train -> Bart -> Shuttle to GGF) was about as much fun as the races themselves. Then Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, where I spent the afternoon with my best friend and her husband eating as much guacamole and Mexican food as our tummies would hold. It was hard to choose just one ...
