Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Mommy Son Coordinating Outfits for Fall
Now that preschool is back in session it means that fall is coming! While it still feels like summer here in CA, I'm ready to embrace the fall season. I absolutely love fall weather and all the fun fall activities you can do with your family. Not to mention all the opportunities to wear cute coordinating outfits! I've been pretty excited for some mommy son coordinating outfits. I'm not sure what mom doesn't love a good matching or coordinating outfit with their kids. I tend to prefer coordinating over matching only because I still ... Read more...
Lanai Lookout Oahu’s Hidden Gem
Thanks to my research and following a ton of Oahu photographers I found out about Lanai Lookout, Oahu's hidden gem. The photos I'd seen were unreal and so I knew we had to see it in person. I was a little nervous for the hike down with Mason but he did great and held onto our hands the whole way. I took my sandals off so I wouldn't slip. Lanai Lookout is such an amazing natural wonder. The water carving out all those striations in the rocks and creating so many cool nooks and crannies. I wore this C/MEO eyelet dress without the ... Read more...
Hotel Review: Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach
As soon as I saw the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, when I was doing my hotel research on places to stay on Oahu, I knew we had to stay there. I was drawn to all the design elements from the coral wall display in the entryway, to the murals (both of which we could see from our balcony) outside the hotel. The pool and lounge area looked so posh and relaxing. I absolutely love luxury travel and luckily for me my husband understands/accepts my level of taste and let's me choose where we stay on vacation. Fun fact, the Alohilani Resort ... Read more...
Hiking Manoa Falls Trail
Manoa Falls trail was one place that had been recommended to me by a friend before we left for Oahu. It was close enough to our hotel on Waikiki Beach for a morning trip. After enjoying breakfast at ARVO we drove up to the entrance in our rental car. First thing to note, is plan to arrive early. We didn't have any trouble finding parking at the base but the lots were filling up quickly. When we started the hike there were lots of people already on their way back down. I definitely wish we would have gotten an earlier start to the hike ... Read more...
Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden
The Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden has been on my travel bucket list for so long and so when we planned our trip to Oahu I knew we had to make it there. I wasn't too sure what time was best to visit, where the iconic photos were I'd seen online and on social media were taken, or really anything about planning our visit...I just knew we had to check it out. The gardens open at 9am so since I wasn't sure how crowded it would get we planned on arriving first thing. There are a few parking spots outside of the gates. We decided to park ... Read more...
