Twillys are a fun way to customize and dress up your bags. So I wanted to share 8 ways to tie an Hermes Twilly on your bag handles to give you some inspiration. It's up to you if you want to tie a twilly on one or both handles of your bags. In my personal opinion, I think you either wrap a twilly around each handle or none at all. Having a twilly on your bag handles will protect the leather. Therefore, you will get inconsistent wear on your handles if they're not on both. But if you're just looking to get one twilly to decorate your bag with many of these ways to tie an Hermes twilly work great as any accessory to your bag. If you're not concerned about wear on your bag handles, I highly recommend giving these a try! And the beauty about these is you can always switch them up! They're super easy to do, and don't take much time, so on ... Read more...
Fall Style with Talbots
Talbots isn't the first place I thought to look for clothing for me. As a child I went shopping at Talbots with my mom so I always associated it with an older generation. But here's the thing, I'm now the age that my mom was when she started shopping there. So, I was very intrigued when Talbots was interested in a collaboration with me. I immediately hopped online to check out their current offerings. I've been struggling to find clothing that is cut to fit my postpartum body. After having Mason my body is definitely not the same. ... Read more...
Currently Impressed: Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion
I've decided to start sharing products with you that I am currently impressed with. I try lots of products out and not all of them are ones that I would personally purchase again. The Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion is definitely a product I'll be buying again, and again, and again! I was originally gifted this product from Urban Decay but have since repurchased myself, so as a disclaimer this post is not sponsored. I have been super impressed with the quality of this eyeshadow primer. It doesn't feel heavy at all. It ... Read more...
Fall Color Crush: Mustard and Maroon + an Update about the Blog
I am a creature of habit and every fall I find myself falling (pun intended) for mustard and maroon. This color combo is definitely one that I am crushing on. When Justin and I went up to South Lake Tahoe last weekend I think half my wardrobe was in these tones. Yes, I packed about 5 outfits for 3 days. I had planned on getting lots of fall content for my blog, along with spending quality time with our friends (the real purpose of this trip), but that ended up not really happening. My phone was rarely next to me, we spent most of our ... Read more...
The Original Facial Bar Blogger Event Recap
I recently attended a beauty blogger event at The Original Facial Bar in San Jose. Even though the event was on my wedding anniversary I decided to go. Justin and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary a few nights earlier because we had night coverage for Mason and because Justin's next fire shift started the day after so we wouldn't have been able to go out even if we wanted to. I am so happy I attended because it was so much fun. It was a small intimate event with just four bloggers in total but boy were we pampered. ... Read more...
Fall Workout Routine + Fitness Update
It's been a while since I've given you all a fitness update and I figured it was about time. I've been putting it off because honestly my progress isn't as far along as I would have hoped. And it's never easy to share progress when the progress isn't there. But in the interest of being transparent with you and keeping it real (like I always do) I felt I should share as I'm sure I'm not alone and the struggle is real. As you might remember, I had wrist surgery this summer. Recovery from that took longer than I thought it would and ... Read more...
