I’ve always loved supporting small businesses and now with my own business, Have Need Want Luxury, I am gearing up for my second Small Business Saturday. To be ready for the gift giving season, I’m stocking up on my up-cycled pieces like LV Apple Watch bands, bag charms, Bandouliere straps, key fobs, and more. As well as working on new repurposed jewelry pieces from authentic Louis Vuitton charms, Gucci zipper pulls, Chanel charms, etc. The jewelry pieces I make all myself and I’ve partnered with two local women to help me make all the other up-cycled pieces. If you’re curious about what I mean when I say up-cycled, we take authentic materials like Louis Vuitton monogram canvas or Gucci supreme canvas from authentic pre-owned bags and use them to create new pieces. These items make fantastic gifts for yourself or someone else as they are all under $400 with most being under $100. The most recent designs that launched are my sunglasses cases, lanyards, wristlet straps, and passport covers.
Last month, I also launch my first collection of graphic tees for the luxury lover! All graphics are created by me and the shirts are made to order. So far, they’ve been selling really well on my new Etsy shop. I already have a few best selling styles like my I Speak Fluent French tee, I Speak Fluent Italian, and my GEEZ LOUIS tee. More styles to come as we get closer to the holidays!! All our tees are priced under $30 and sweatshirts range from $45-$50.
When it comes to holiday shopping I know it can be easy to shop at big box stores for holiday gifts, especially if you’re concerned about someone wanting to return or exchange what they receive, but just know that when you shop small you are supporting someone’s dream! Each and every purchase made, no matter how big or small, is important to me. I wish you all could see my excitement every time I see an order placed on my website, app, or on my Etsy shop.
