I love all the lace pieces in the Kobi Halperin collection for Macy's. This bomber jacket is just to die for! But while I am obsessed with all the lace this faux fur pocket vest stood out when shopping the collection before NYFW. I loved how different it was from the rest of the collection and how the faux fur detail was removable for a sleek look. Marled Off the Shoulder Button Down Top
For my third day of shows I wore this adorable off the shoulder button-down top tucked into my metallic pleat skirt. If you recall, I wore this exact skirt to NYFW in February of 2016. I love how I styled it then with my colorblock sweater, navy tights, and suede booties but I think I like it even more with these furry mules and grey pinstripe top. Pom Poms for Days
This season was the first time during NYFW that I have been a part of the affiliate network, RewardStyle, and so I was able to attend their rooftop party. I knew I wanted a very unique outfit for the party and so when hunting online for what I was going to wear I selected two pieces that were contrasting. Cascade Sleeve Top and Ruffle Belt Pants
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I did a lot of shopping before NYFW. I try and buy pieces that I know I can style in “real life” but also will work in an outfit worthy of wearing on the streets of New York during NYFW. Backstage at Tibi SS18
One thing this season that I got the opportunity to do that I hadn’t really done in the past is go backstage at some of the larger shows with beauty brand, Aveda. I was excited to be able to get a close up of the hair and makeup at Tibi and be able to even get a sneak peek of the collection before it was shown on the runway. Aveda was kind enough to do my hair backstage and I love the way the undone top knot half up half down hairstyle turned out.
